I have three tickets to some kind of British comedy play. I go to the theatre in the afternoon to pick them up and a woman said that there was a mistake and with one of the tickets and I only had two. I return in the evening (possibly by train) to attend the show alone. I approach a different woman with a clipboard to ask for my tickets. She addresses me as Mr Kunka and I’m impressed that she knows who I am. She says that I had the BBC tickets (which suggests they were some kind of prize or donation-based tickets). She apologizes and said there’s been a mistake and that there aren’t any tickets. I get angry especially about having been there in the afternoon and why wasn’t I told then that there was a problem, and why didn’t someone contact me before I came all the way in from NJ. I purposely said NJ instead of Montclair because I wanted it to seem like I had come from a greater distance. I reemphasized having spoken to a different woman that afternoon and the woman with the clipboard gets her attention and she refers to me as the “person with the tickets to the show that doesn’t exist” and I correct her to say that “it’s the show with the the tickets that don’t exist”. I insist that since I’m there, that they should try to get me into an empty seat, but that I’m still entitled to a full refund. I then think that the seat is probably going to be high up and to the side with an obstructed view and fret about that before I wake up.
This dream may reflect feelings of frustration and inconvenience in your waking life. The tickets to the British comedy play represent an anticipated event or situation that you were looking forward to, but encountering obstacles and errors caused disappointment and anger. The different women you interact with could symbolize various aspects of yourself or external influences that have let you down.
Being called Mr. Kunka (a name not familiar to you in waking life) might signify a sense of unrecognized identity or feeling misunderstood in certain situations. The reference to the BBC tickets implies a connection to something prestigious or exclusive, suggesting a desire for recognition or validation in your life.
Your frustration about not being informed of the ticket issue earlier highlights a sense of communication breakdown or lack of transparency in a particular area of your life. The added detail of emphasizing that you came from NJ may indicate a desire to be perceived as making a considerable effort or sacrifice for something that ultimately did not meet your expectations.
The dream's ending with the concern over being seated in a high, obstructed view position could symbolize your apprehension about feeling overlooked or marginalized in a particular situation. Overall, this dream may be urging you to examine your feelings of frustration, disappointment, and the need for clearer communication in your waking life.
